You Don't Know Me

What better way to start the week than with a single by Emmylou Harris?

From 1994 on The Grapeline Label  the lead song You Don't Know Me is a cover of the 1955 Country standard written by Eddie Arnold and Cindy Walker which I imagine many of you will recognise. It is a song which has been covered many times Indeed, as you would expect, it has been the subject of a Single Song Sunday by our pal Ernie Goggins

It is joined by A Ways to Go with both tracks being taken from her 1993 album Cowgirl's Prayer.

I'm unsure where I picked up the CD single but I picked up the CD of the album early in 2015 from the Red Cross charity shop  in Auchterarder along with  Brand New Dance.

Happy days

    1. Should have read 2015 - when charity shops were still open!
