Enough Already


2016 has been a truly terrible year.
Brexit. Trump, Aleppo and the loss of so many that provided the music of our youth.

On hearing of the death of Rick Parfitt I commented that hopefully he was the last of the class of 2016.
Sadly it was not to be

  1. And still it continues. Drummer Alphonse Mouzon, who played with virtually every jazz great over the past 40 years, died on Boxing Day.

  3. The Michael death is the saddest, for me, of all them this year (so far). A combination of two things, one, that he was four months younger than me, and two, that he was a bit of a lost soul, musically, after the Listen Without Prejudice album. He semed a damned decent bloke.
