Second of three Celtic Connections outings tomorrow night to see an artist I've never seen before Rachel Sermanni at a venue I've never been to before The Mackintosh Church.
Looking forward to it as her 2015 album Tied to the Moon and her recent digital download Gently are both excellent.
She hails from Carrbridge in the Scottish Highlands.
The support act is Jolie Holland & Samantha Parton two founder members of the Canadian band the Be Good Tanyas.
The BGTs were excellent although I am not so sure about Jolie's solo album Catalpa which I picked up in a charity shop.
