It has been a few years since I have featured anything by the late great Tom Petty who sadly left us in October 2017 at the age of 66
For me 1991's Into the Great Wide Open was probably his last great album and one which is a particular favourite of Mrs CC and I as it reminds us of our honeymoon on Skye.
I Won't Back Down which he wrote with Jeff Lynne appeared on his 1989 album Full Moon Fever . It was also covered by Johnny Cash on American III: Solitary Man here
On the subject of covers during lockdown Lucinda Williams released 6 albums of covers called Lu's Jukebox The first in the series was Vol 1 - Runnin' Down a Dream - a tribute to Tom Petty
