A totally non-random choice this week.
Following on from yesterday's Joe Strummer post today we have an Uncut compilation This is Radio Strummer which has 15 tracks from his World Service Radio Show.
A British Dylan's Theme Time Radio Hour if you will.
Somewhat strangely no reggae features. There is a some good stuff on show however and from Niafunke in Mali we have Afel Bocoum sandwiched between two legends hailing from Mississippi - Bo Diddley out of McComb and Elvis out of Tupelo.
Bo Diddley - Nursery Rhyme
Afel Bocoum - Jeeny
Elvis Presley - Lawdy Miss Clawdy
They were an excellent series of shows. Joe would be a natural fit as an occasional 6Music presenter if he was still with us.
