Another couple of Sunday songs to brighten up your Monday and two which I suspect you will all be familiar with.
From the 1968 concept album Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake here are Messrs Marriott, Lane, Jones and McLagan with Lazy Sunday.
Then we have Blondie with Sunday Girl a number one from 1979 and the fourth single to be taken from Parallel Lines. This version is from the Best of Blondie with an alternative mix by Mike Chapman which contains one verse in French. Tres Continental
Possibly more Sunday songs next Monday. But if not as the Small Faces would say mustn't grumble
Small Faces - Lazy Sunday
Blondie - Sunday Girl
Familiar perhaps, but always welcome nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteYou can’t go wrong with the Small Faces.
ReplyDeleteWell, actually the comeback albums weren’t that great now I think about it but a phenomenal band in the 60s.
