It includes Tonight I Celebrate My Love but given that you are all familiar with it I have gone for a couple of others. From 1983 which was not exactly a vintage year for soul. But hey it features Roberta Flack although when it comes to her duets I much prefer her work with the late great Donny Hathaway.
Mrs CC acquired Abracadabra by The Steve Miller Band for three quid. She wasn't sure whether she had her copy of it. She had..
From 1982. The early eighties also weren't particularly a purple patch for AOR even although Steve and his band just want to reach out and grab ya.

DeleteIt was a pound
It’s going!
DeleteI consider that a good haul.
ReplyDeleteCan't go wrong with Steve Miller.
Only know Steve Miller from his singles and obviously Best of - several killer songs too which makes it strange I suppose that I've never attempted to check out any of his albums. Next time I'm out CD shopping I'll get a couple cheap and see what, if anything, I've been missing
