Early Elvis Friday

How about some early Elvis to finish off your week and ease you in a pelvis twitching fashion into the weekend?
The first of these  two tracks comes in at under 2 minutes with the second one stretching to 2 mins 15 seconds
But hey good things come in small packages or so I'm told.
His first two singles on Sun from 1954 -just fantastic.

These two are taken from Red Hot Rockabilly - 50 Hard Hitting Rockabilly Classics one of many such compilations which you can pick up for a couple of quid in Fopp.

Elvis Presley - That's All Right

Elvis Presley - Good Rockin' Tonight

  1. Two crackers there CC.

Was at the Teen Canteen launch last night. They were excellent, looking forward to listening to the album tomorrow.

  4. I will probably go to hell for saying this, but Elvis Presley has always left me cold. Nada. I get nothing. He looks good, he dances fine but as soon as he opens his mouth I notice I need to vacuum or wash some dishes. Sorry America, but that's me. He's my Clash to the George.
