This week the Saturday Shuffle reaches the 90s with some stonking tunes.
We kick off with Primal Scream and the version of Rocks from the Original Memphis Recordings of Give Out But Don't Give Up featuring the late great Denise Johnson who shockingly the band have airbrushed out of the album's credits.
Next up we have Kirk Brandon and Spear of Destiny with the belter that is Liberator.
These two tunes are quite possibly the catalyst that led Ian Dury and the Blockheads to observe that There Ain't Half Been Some Clever Bastards. For Primal Scream omit the word clever.
