This week's Americana compilation comes from one of the two great German Americana labels in this case Beverungen's Glittehouse Records
From 2000 it contains 21 artists over 78 minutes with a 16 page booklet giving details of the selected artists and songs. Click here for the tracklist.
By my calculations I've seen at least 8 of the acts live and have music from a good few more. As is the case for many of the compilations in this series you could choose three tracks at random and the quality would still be good.
With that it mind I've gone for three acts that I've seen live. Let's start with Willow Jane from the late great Neal Casal. Neil is followed by Nadine and Closer We conclude with Ramsay Midwood and Mohawk River.
There is at least one more Glitterhouse compilation on the shelves which will feature in due course.
