Instalment 9 of the Hotel, Motel but no Holiday Inn series. There maybe a vague connection between today's two songs.
In the hotel corner we have Glass Hotel a song from the 1990 album Eye from the legend that is Robyn Hitchcock. According to Medialoper Glass Hotel seems like a break up song, in this case maybe about a discovery of infidelity from a partner who had been accusing him of the same.
There are definite suggestions as to infidelity in the Dicky Williams song In the Same Motel. This version is taken from the compilation There's a Heartbreak Somewhere. It is also included on Down and Out - The Sad Soul of the Black South.
