In the Hotel corner we have Sheffield's Richard Hawley with the song Hotel Room from the wonderful Coles Corner album. There is no clue as to the location of quality of the hotel room in question so I've picked a random picture.
I think that the US Motel 6 chain can be described as being part of the budget market.I say that as I think I may have stayed in one. Yo La Tengo certainly appear to have stayed in one as they give us From a Motel 6. Not to be confuse with Bob Dylan and From a Buick 6 .

ReplyDeleteRe Richard Hawley, just checked with AI and it says the song's reference is not to any particular hotel so you were right to come up with a generic picture. Glad I cleared that one up!
