2025 Charity Shop Purchases # 50 - Various Artists - Dave Godin's Deep Soul Treasures - Taken From The Vaults Volume 5

I know what you are thinking - what happened to Volume 4 ?The answer is simple. I was a bit rushed at the checkout and didn't see it on the rotating shelves. It may. or may not, have been there.

No matter as Volume 4 was the only one I previously had on CD. Volumes 1 to 3 have been upgraded from Burns with Volume 5 now  upgraded from my previous MP3 copy.

One reason for the change in format is that Volume 5 was not released until 2019 some 15 years on from Volume 4 and Dave Godin's death.

Here is the blurb and tracklist from Ace Records which saves me the time and trouble of cutting and pasting. As always it was hard to choose individual tracks from the 25 songs on the album but I think I've made some reasonable choices.

I'm chuffed to bits that I now have all five volumes in CD format. Finds like this don't come by too often.
