2025 Charity Shop Purchases #26 - Salif Keita - Moffou
We are off to Mali today,or more precisely to Paris, to hook up with The Golden Voice of Africa Salif Keita.
Recorded in 2001 at Les Studios de la Seine and released in 2002 Moffou is the 10th studio album released by the great man.
The opening track Yamore features the Cape Verdian singer Cesária Évora. There is an Exotic Disco Mix of the song Madan by French DJ and record producer Martin Solveig but don't worry I'll spare you from that and give you the original which I'm sure is miles better.
