Heather Myles features on a number of compilation albums I have from the late 90s/early 00s.
This track is from her" Sweet Little Dangerous" album recorded Live at the Bottom Line from that Country hotspot Shepherds Bush and features on a Demon compilation from 1996 "Doing it Right".
She doesn't appear to have been the most prolific of artists with only 5 albums over a 20 year period.
Wikipedia compares her Bakersfield honky tonk sound to the mighty Dwight Yoakam -high praise indeed!
Heather Myles - Love Me a Little Bit Longer
Good stuff. If you haven't heard her duet with Merle Haggard, "No One Is Going To Love You Better", let me know and I'll send it over.
ReplyDeleteCheers Ernie - I'm always up for a bit of Merle -CC
