It's amazing how you find things you never knew you had when you start rooting around the dark recesses of your Music folder.
The Magnetic Fields featured yesterday but when searching under the word Magnetic a few tracks from an album called Magnetic by Nashville singer songwriter also Rachel Taylor popped up.
From May 2015 her soaring vocal style with hints of country and western giving way to an edgier alternative rock theme is a slight departure from the more simplistic stylings of her EP, “Heartbreak is for Everyone” (Bandcamp)
I'm not sure that I am hearing much country and western but it is a pleasant listen albeit maybe not enough to elevate her from the pack. Here is the title track from the album and a track from the EP.
A regular experience here as well, especially things that some nice person sent me a promo copy of that I listened to once then completely forgot about.
