The picture above is typical for this time of the year and very handy for depicting the first song from this week's shuffle. Here is Bud taken from the 2014 eponymous debut album from the Edinburgh band Honeyblood led by Stina Tweeddale.
Making their debut on the Shuffle next up is/are The Crazy World of Arthur Brown from as far back as 1968 with the classic Fire leading to Arthur being often referred to as the God of Hell Fire.
We conclude with something much more mellow and soulful namely Neighbor Neighbor ( points off for spelling!) courtesy of Jimmy Hughes. He is a cousin of Percy Sledge and an important part of the Muscle Shoals scene particularly with his song Steal Away. On the back of Percy's success he had a brief stay at Atlantic prior to moving on to Stax. He quit music around 1970 and is still going strong at the age of 87.
