When it comes to which is the best version of the song Blind Willie McTell I find myself constantly alternating between the original by Bob Dylan and the cover by The Dream Syndicate. Recently a version by Lucinda Williams has been added to the mix. It was the version by Steve Wynn and the gang which popped up on the Shuffle so for today consider it the best version.
There is an arguement that there is not enough Reggae on the Shuffle. But hey it's a Wonderful World so here is some Jimmy Cliff for you Beautiful People.
The Drive-By Truckers might not agree that 21st Century USA is a wonderful world. Indeed how could it be when the country is being run by the Orange Idiot. Even if I had the money I would not be visiting it at the moment. It is danger of becoming a pariah state even although there are still undoubtedly some beautiful people clinging on by their fingertips.Stay strong.
