I turn 64 today.I've no idea how that happened.
When Paul McCartney wrote When I'm Sixty Four in 1967 he pictured himself being old and decrepit. I wonder how he feels now that he's 83.
Me? Sure sometimes the bones ache but I feel that there is life in the old dog yet. He's got the losing the hair bit right enough though!
I also still enjoy discovering new music and going to concerts if they are affordable and of course writing nonsense and subjecting you to my tastes in music here.
I've never really been that much of a fan of the Beatles. Mrs CC likes them though and I picked up a bundle of their albums in a charity shop in Broadford, Skye a few years ago. Sgt Peppers wasn't one of then though so I had to source this one from elsewhere.
I'm off to listen to Big Star.
The Shuffle will be back next Saturday
Happy birthday CC, have a good one.
