Saturday Shuffle 131

We move swiftly on from last week's abberation with three acts who I am pretty confident would have very little time for the Orange Idiot.

Let's head back to 2002 and Golden Age of Radio the debut album from Josh Ritter and in particular track 2. Me and Jiggs is a song about small town America and as a bonus it name checks Townes Van Zandt.

We go from a track off a debut album to one off a second album all the way back to 1980. Here are The B-52's with the wonderful Private Idaho

We conclude with the most modern of the three from 2005. From 2005 and the album The Great Destroyer here are Low with the classic song California

Tune in next Saturday for some more random classic and not so classics.

  1. why not keep your politics to yourself? What do you NOT LIKE about secure borders, secure ballots, energy independence, protecting women's sports, protecting women's spaces, English ONLY for government forms & business, Falling prices, slowing inflation, NATO countries contributing to their own defense,(finally), Gender sanity codified into law, Transgenders OUT of the military,
The ICC had a 15 million dollar reward offered for the arrest & capture of Maduro. Joe Biden upped the ante to 25 million. Trump brought in a wanted criminal, but the criminal's cronies were still there, trying to finance their tyranny with oil revenue, and Trump's not letting him.
Meanwhile, Europe is being overrun in a slow motion invasion by people who reject the values of western civilization.

  2. "The Files!!??? Even the democrats have stopped calling for that, as so far, more democrats are being exposed, And thus far, they haven't proven that Trump was involved in Epstein/Clinton orgies.
