Hotel, Motel, Holiday Inn

 

When I featured the album  Hotel Radio last week in the last of the Radio,Radio series I commented on the potential of a Hotel related series.

Here it is! Something nice and easy which takes little effort and eases me into the Blogging Week. The same format as many previous series - three songs with Hotel in the title.

Here goes. We kick off with Deluxe Hotel Room which is the title track from a 2019 album by Canadian singer songwriter Lauren Gillies who also goes by the nom de plum Lucette. Bought in a charity shop on Great Western Road prior to a football match at Firhill it is one of my better random punts.

Next up we have the late great Nanci  Griffith with Late Night Grand Hotel also the title track of an album, in this case her 9th studio album, from 1991

We check out this week with Panama City Hotel from the third and final album by Sugar  namely File Under Easy Listening.

We will check back in next Monday all things being well. Hopefully the rooms will have been serviced.
