Over the years though, it's grown on me a lot. I'd probably place it higher than #9 in my own REM list.Rolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02103804480646939038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5834198189370622587.post-87706624893183716582017-07-24T17:27:48.887+01:002017-07-24T17:27:48.887+01:00Cheers for the link. You've picked two of the best, and if I was to stick my neck out I'd probably also recommend So Fast So Numb and Low Desert too. E-Bow The Letter isn't that bad - it's got Patti Smith on it!TheRobsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18277941961790844321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5834198189370622587.post-44289290128027847732017-07-24T10:42:25.432+01:002017-07-24T10:42:25.432+01:00I'm surprised you haven't done so already ...I'm surprised you haven't done so already given your lack of pay rises over the last 7 yearsGeorgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12140350486850944468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5834198189370622587.post-75179528230348891592017-07-24T09:25:11.318+01:002017-07-24T09:25:11.318+01:00Wow. 80 quid for the vinyl. 'New Adventures in Hi-Fi' was REM's last hurrah, for me anyway, even if I didn't know it at the time. I was lucky enough to have an advance promo cassette of the album in August 1996 and have fond memories of playing it on constant rotation when I drove a car load of people to see Oasis at Knebworth. Whenever I hear 'New Adventures in Hi-Fi' now it takes me right back to that day. The Swedehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13237251779370596904noreply@blogger.com
