On the first track of

12 Shades of Brown he points out that
My Baby Don't Dance to Nothing But Ernest Tubb

Ernest Tubb, the Texan Troubadour, was one of the original pioneers of Country Music from the 40's onwards and in particular of honky tonk music.
It is reassuring to note that fifty years later the genre was still going strong in the safe hands of Mr Brown so no need to drive those nails into your coffin just yet Ernie

Ernest Tubb - Drivin' Nails In My Coffin
I didn't know Junior Brown before playing 'My Baby Don't Dance to Nothing But Ernest Tubb' and didn't quite appreciate that this kind of country music was still being recorded. You're quite right - it's very reassuring. Very good too. As of course is Mr Tubb himself.
