I'm Younger Than That Now

It's been a wee while since His Bobness has appeared on CCM. Time to right that wrong.
Two songs from 1964's Another Side of Bob Dylan from the start of his pre motorcycle crash purple patch.
Eleven minutes of sheer  unadulterated genius.

I've really got nothing more to write that hasn't been written before. So we'll let the music do the talking.

Bob Dylan - Chimes of Freedom

Bob Dylan - To Ramona

  1. Always loved Ballad in Plain D from that much underrated album.

  2. So many great tracks on this album but I suppose my own favourite is My Back Pages which I play back to back far too often than can be regarded as normal. As for Ballad In Plain D, it does seem to be the most personal on the album and which I'm sure the internet is awash with analysis about. Incidentally, does anybody, anywhere, actually know someone called Ramona? The Bachelors (Irish 60s group for those youngsters who may not know) had a song My Ramona but in my little world I've drawn a complete blank with the name.
