Who's Sorry Now


Karine Polwart " the finest folk singer songwriter of her generation" according to Steve Kersley in the sleeve notes of This is Proper Folk Too!! and who am I to argue.
Off to see her at the City Halls tomorrow with Anais Mitchell as support which should be good.

Her latest album Traces is superb.On the first track Cover Your Eyes she highlight's Donald Trump's folly of a golf course on Menie Links and suggests that Mother Nature will extract her revenge which she has done recently!

    Karine Polwart - absolutely fantastic - pure quality
    She was playing a harmonium propped up on an ironing table a la Michael Marra!
    Also now the pround owners of a signed copy of Child Ballads by Anais Mitchell and Jefferson Hamer
